Events where you can take part

Some of the most popular events are where you do all the hard work! WWF Scotland has purchased charity assured places in two of the biggest running events, Edinburgh marathon and Hairy Haggis Relay race and the Loch Ness Marathon, but there are plenty of others where you can take your own place and choose to raise funds for our work.

If you would like to raise money for us at your own event or a running event where we have not purchased charity assured places, then please email for a fundraising pack.

Loch Ness Marathon

We now have charity assured places for this event.

A Monster Race… running alongside the shores of the world’s most famous loch.

Loch Ness is one of the best-known destinations in the world. Its beautiful scenery and the centuries-old mystery of the Loch Ness monster have attracted visitors from around the world for years.

Edinburgh Marathon Festival of Running

26 - 27 May 2012

WWF Scotland has guaranteed places in all of the festival running events. This includes junior runs, 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathon, full marathon and 4 person relay races. If you would like to take part and raise funds for us then please get in touch.

5K Fun Runs

August - October 2011

WWF Scotland has guaranteed places in all 13 of the confirmed Fun Runs taking place across the UK. This is a great way to involve the whole family in a fun activity. It is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels.
