One Sun One World Scottish Premiere

Scottish Premiere in Aviemore

Saturday 19 November

One Sun One World is the latest in a distinguished line of WWF school musicals by Peter Rose and Anne Conlon. Peter and Anne have created their latest musical to reflect the issues highlighted by WWF’s One Planet Future campaign – so it celebrates our astonishing planet in all its rich diversity, but it also examines changes brought about by human activities in a modern world.

The musical is very much a part of WWF-UK’s education programme, which helps schools put sustainability at the heart of everything they do. But more than that, it is also part of WWF’s 50th birthday celebrations this year.

The participants for the Scottish event were Kingussie High School and the six feeder primary schools. The Highland Youth Orchestra and Choirs also performed as did Chris Jose, a local baritone. Our narrator on the day was popular broadcaster Jenny Farish.

Everyone had a great time and all the children performed brilliantly.

Well done to them all. Here are just a few images from the event.
